TL;DR: AI business automation can handle most routine business tasks, but human review is still essential. In my test, Claude completed 14 real business jobs with zero interventions during execution.

I split Claude into two roles: an Agent for emails, competitor research, and scheduling, and a Thinker for planning, writing, and documents. Everything ran using test accounts without real customer data.

The Agent finished eight jobs in 33 minutes, while the Thinker took about 14 minutes. Most results needed only minor edits, although sponsor outreach and calendar management had bigger issues.

  • Results: 1 A, 10 B, 2 C, with zero emails sent.

  • Avoid: Giving AI unclear instructions or permission to publish without review.

  • Start with: Website audits, inbox sorting, and content repurposing.
