Anthropic is turning Claude into a permanent, proactive office colleague with a brand-new persistent memory service that lives directly inside your team's Slack channels.

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH CREALLY

Most teams lose influencer deals not from bad strategy, but from slow follow-ups and no system.

Creally is the AI platform for creator partnerships. AI agents handle discovery, outreach, and negotiations end-to-end.

One client went from 200 to 5,000 monthly outreaches without a single new hire. Another cut creator search from 5 hours to under 1.

AI INSIGHTS

Anthropic just rolled out a major update: a new service called Claude Tag, designed to act as an “always-on” AI teammate that lives directly inside your Slack channels, learning your company's context one message at a time.

While you could already DM Claude or route tasks through Claude Code in Slack, this new beta feature introduces a powerful layer of persistent memory and context that fundamentally changes how teams interact with the model.

  • Claude now remembers the ongoing workflow. Everyone in a specific channel shares a single Claude identity, meaning any team member can pick up the conversation exactly where someone else left off.

  • You don't always have to prompt it. Claude Tag has an ambient mode where it can proactively jump into chats of its own accord.

  • When tagged with a specific job, Claude breaks the task down into stages, uses whatever internal tools it has access to, and reports its progress and deliverables back inside a Slack thread.

  • System administrators dictate exactly which tools, information, and channels each Claude identity can tap into. This keeps operations siloed.

By adding persistent memory, Anthropic notes that it should feel much closer to working with a real colleague who actually understands the context of what your team is building.

PRESENTED BY VIKTOR

One brand shipped 30+ landing pages last week. No developers.

A DTC brand briefed Viktor inside Slack: one landing page per Meta ad group, mapped to a different headline variant. He wrote the code, deployed each page to their subdomain, posted the URLs back in #marketing, and now monitors performance across the set.

Their content team uses him to draft email flows, generate creative variants, and audit Klaviyo segments every Friday. Their growth lead uses him to catch spend anomalies before the day starts.

20,000+ teams now have the same setup: one AI employee across every marketing tool. A teammate who ships work in Slack and Microsoft Teams. SOC 2 certified.

"Not only have we caught up on several months of work, we are automating manual tasks and expanding to things previously not possible at scale." Jesse, Director, Torque King 4x4.

FREE GUIDE: LOOP ENGINEERING

stop-prompting-claude-and-start-building-loop-engineering

Boris Chernythe engineer behind Claude Code, said something recently that should change how you think about AI for good:

"I don't prompt Claude anymore. I have loops running that prompt Claude and figure out what to do. My job is to write loops."

Nvidia's Jensen Huang: "Nobody writes prompts anymore. The new job is to write and handle loops." Then I found Peter Steinberger saying almost the exact same thing:

"You shouldn't be prompting coding agents anymore. You should be designing loops that prompt your agents."

There's endless AI hype out there. But when two people who literally build the tools we're using both land on the same idea, independently, I pay attention.

So I went deep on loop engineering. And I found that it's actually really simple. Most people just overcomplicate it.

In this post, I'm breaking loop engineering down so everyone inside AI Fire community can get it & apply it to your current workflow.

AI BREAKTHROUGH

can-sakana-fugu-multi-agent-orchestration-dodge-export-controls

Japan’s Sakana AI dropped a new model called Fugu, and it’s taking a very different path to reach frontier-level performance. Fugu acts as a multi-agent orchestrator. Interestingly, Sakana is pitching this setup specifically as a strategic hedge against the recent export controls that pulled the plug on Anthropic’s Mythos and Fable:

  • The core Fugu model operates like a manager. It selects the right helper models, and merges the final answers, keeping the complex multi-agent process completely hidden behind one clean API.

  • The launch includes 2 versions: a faster standard "Fugu" designed for everyday coding and chat, and a heavier "Ultra" version built for intensive tasks.

  • Both Fugu models perform near or even above Fable 5 and the Mythos preview across various coding, reasoning, and science evaluations.

Sakana's main selling point is geopolitical resilience. They are actively positioning Fugu as a way to secure frontier-level capabilities without the risk of suddenly losing access due to international export bans on top-tier models.

However, the initial reception from the community has been mixed. While the architecture is clever, early users are reporting that the model's real-world output isn't quite hitting that promised frontier level.
