I used Claude to build an agent around Karpathy’s publicly observable workflows and session patterns. Here’s exactly what I put together and what happened when I actually used it.

You can build an Andrej Karpathy-inspired Claude Code Agent using his public lectures, articles, and code. The agent can teach coding concepts, review code, and follow methods drawn from his work.

I collected over 1 million words of Karpathy's content and organized them into an AI Knowledge Base. Claude Code uses this wiki to find relevant information and check claims against original sources.

The workflow has 5 steps, from collecting knowledge to building a custom subagent and skill.

What you need: Claude Code (any paid plan), Python, youtube-transcript-api, yt-dlp, and twitterapi.io credentials for X posts.
