When you ask Gemini to change a file already in Drive, it sometimes makes a duplicate file with V2 in the name and edits that one instead of the original. After a few rounds, you can end up with V2, V3, V4 of the same doc, so always check the file name before sharing.

2. PowerPoint export is the weakest output format.

Native PPTX export is the weakest part right now. The result can look bad, and sometimes Gemini gives you slides in the side panel or even raw code instead of a real PPTX file. The safer path is to build the slides inside Gemini first, export to Google Slides, polish them there, and only export to PPTX when you really need it.

3. Not every feature is on every plan yet.
