AI INSIGHTS

grok-voice-3-0

xAI just launched Grok Voice 3.0, and it jumped straight to #1 on Artificial Analysis’s Speech-to-Speech Index, ahead of GPT-Live-1 and Gemini 3.8 Live. A few numbers stand out:

  • Roughly 40% faster than GPT-Live-1 and Gemini 3.8 Live. Interestingly, Grok Voice 2.0 was still slightly faster at 0.70s.

  • 98.5% on Big Bench Audio for speech reasoning.

  • 97% on Full Duplex Bench, measuring interruptions, pauses, and natural turn-taking.

  • 94.8% task success, currently one of the strongest results on Speech Agent Arena.

  • Its biggest jump is on τ-Voice, which tests real multi-step support calls: 71.6% vs 56.5% for Grok Voice 2.0. GPT-Live-1 still narrowly leads here at 74.5%.

  • Artificial Analysis measured it at around $0.025 per Big Bench Audio task, versus $0.030 for GPT-Live-1 and $0.055 for GPT-Realtime-2.1 High.

xAI says Grok Voice handles millions of conversations per day in Tesla vehicles, while Starlink uses it for around 20,000 customer calls daily. Roughly 70% are resolved without a human, and one in four sales calls ends in a purchase.

The AI IPO Rush Is Coming

OpenAI and Anthropic could bring a new wave of AI attention to the public markets. But investors don’t have to wait for the IPOs.

REA (Reverse Engineer Anything) is going insanely viral these days, racing past 200,000+ GitHub stars in roughly a week.

reverse-engineering-tools

Someone rebuilt an Apple TV remote app in 45 minutes, while another developer recreated Adobe-style Photoshop and Premiere apps in Rust.

Matthew Berman declared “software is done.” Replit CEO Amjad Masad even predicted that “pretty much all software will soon be open source.”

Sounds crazy, right? But if AI can reverse engineer almost any app, could you really clone an entire software business in minutes?

I tested REA against regular Claude Code by rebuilding Apple's Preview app, then tried cloning Wispr Flow, a popular voice-to-text tool.

In this guide, I'll show you how REA's reverse engineering tools work, what happened in both tests, and find out if REA is worth adding to your AI coding workflow.

AI HIGHLIGHTS

⚡ Happy JevDay! Jev 1.14 adds experimental image inputs, bounding boxes, 262K-token context, and multilingual upgrades while keeping Jev 1.13 stable. Test it now.

🔍 Claude Managed Agents, Messages API, Claude SDK now support OpenTelemetry traces. You can finally inspect token usage, tool calls, latency, and failures properly.

⚙️ Anthropic says daily code merges jumped from 2,500 in May to 30K+ today. It spent 5 months rebuilding its platform for agents & outlined exactly how it adapted.

🤖 If you think AI agents are still experimental, Europe says otherwise. OpenAI reports they drive over half of its EU business output, while SMB jumped 8.1x.

🚀 Anthropic hit $16.8B in Q3 revenue, reached adjusted profitability, and turned free cash flow positive. Pretty ideal timing if that pre-Thanksgiving IPO really happens.

🛡️ Around 400 scientists, including Geoffrey Hinton & Yoshua Bengio, are calling for global standards to contain cyber-capable AI before incidents get harder to control.

💰 Big AI Investment: Nvidia plans €2 billion in new European AI deals this week, after investing $8 billion across the continent last year. Jensen Huang says Europe must move faster to compete in AI.

NEW EMPOWERED AI TOOLS

  1. 🤖 Liquid AI launches an open AI model that runs agents on high-end laptops, beating Alibaba’s larger Qwen3.6 in 5 of 8 agent tests.

  2. 🎙️ Fish Audio Drama 3 lets you direct AI voices with simple instructions, control how words sound, and fix individual phrases fast.

  3. 📄 Ultramarine 1 Flash creates Excel models, PowerPoint decks, and Word reports for just $0.13 per task, beating others at a fraction of the cost.

AI BREAKTHROUGH

anthropic-exec-pulls-ai-self-improvement-timeline-to-2027

Anthropic co-founder Jack Clark just moved his timeline for full AI recursive self-improvement from 2028 to 2027, after seeing new evidence that models are getting much better at doing AI research themselves. Main findings:

  • P-Zero Research’s TasteVal tests whether AI can design useful experiments and interpret the results across eight frontier AI research tasks.

  • Claude Opus 5.5 beat the human-expert baseline, achieving a 2.3x compute multiplier while costing roughly 30x less per attempt.

  • Frontier models’ measured “research taste” has been doubling roughly every 3 months since December 2025.

  • Anthropic says coding itself is increasingly becoming less of a bottleneck: its daily merged code changes jumped from about 2,500 in May to more than 30,000 in September as Claude took on more development work.

Clark previously saw creativity and research intuition as major obstacles to fully automated AI research. Those gaps now appear to be closing faster than he expected.

If AI becomes capable of choosing good research directions, running experiments, and improving the systems that build the next generation of AI, today’s pace of progress could look slow compared with what comes next.

A CRM so smart, it updates itself.

HubSpot's CRM is so smart, it now updates itself. Calls get logged and summarized the moment they end. New leads get researched and a first outreach drafted, automatically. Deals move forward on their own, with next steps flagged before you have to ask.

Even the one repetitive task you've been meaning to fix can now run itself, no code required. Customers using it are already seeing the difference.

This isn't the CRM you have to work hard to figure out. It's the one already working before you log in.
