AI INSIGHTS
MIT CSAIL researchers introduced Weight-Space Programming, a technique that lets AI models directly read and edit another neural network's weights without traditional training. Using GPT-6 Astra, researchers achieved impressive results:
MATH-500 accuracy: 7.9% → 48.1% (6× improvement).
GSM8K math accuracy: 13.8% → 67.1% (nearly 5×).
Instruction following: 21% → 62.3% (3×).
Only 0.016% of Qwen3.5-0.8B's weights were modified (131,072 parameters).
Astra identified a problem causing Qwen to get stuck in reasoning loops, then directly corrected the affected weights using Python, without retraining.
The researchers also found that Astra could identify 4 games, including Pong and Breakout, simply by examining neural network weights. It can fix a game-playing AI's behavior, increasing task success from 0% to 100%.
But Astra couldn't significantly improve a smaller Gemma model that lacked the same reasoning-loop problem. The research remains preliminary, although the team has released its experimental logs and model for further testing.
PRESENTED BY LEADPOST
Ad costs climb every quarter, and the same visitors keep slipping away unnamed. Meanwhile the cheapest leads you'll get all month are already on your site. You just can't see them. LeadPost turns anonymous sessions into contact records you own: name, email, postal address, company, job title.
It runs on the traffic you're already buying and pushes leads into your CRM automatically, so email, ads, and direct mail can pick up from there. One customer traced $270,000 in sales back to a $4,000 spend. Free for 14 days for AI Fire readers, with no credit card. You'll see real leads out of your own traffic before you decide anything

🧠 A SpaceXAI engineer just showed how to build better Grok bots with Dr. Eggbot, a bot that literally creates other bots. If you want plug-and-play setups, just start here.
💥 OpenAI is merging ChatGPT & Codex into one shared usage pool for paid plans this December. Instant chats won’t count, thankfully. Spend those tokens carefully.
💸 YC CEO Garry Tan spends up to $200K a year on AI tokens, using agents for coding, and daily life. He even open-sourced these 23 Claude Code skills in gstack.
🕵️ Grok-generated API text is getting an invisible watermark. SpaceX says the change starts Nov. 7 to comply with EU AI Act rules. Here’s what changes for developers.
💧 Anthropic is also watermarking invisible text from Claude Mythos 5, Opus 4.7, Opus 4.6, and Sonnet 4.6 to meet EU rules. Its newest models will carry this as well.
🧪 OpenAI just launched LifeVal, a benchmark built for real everyday tasks people actually care about, from childcare and government services to personal finance.
💰 Big AI Fundraising: 42AI raised $62.5M for a “behavioral world model” that estimates how people may react in new situations. It’s already testing the model with financial brokerages.

AI BREAKTHROUGH
DeepSeek released dsh-superagent-prototype, an open-source AI system that coordinates multiple coding agents to handle tasks in parallel. Here's what it can do:
Monitor GitHub issues, pull requests, and Feishu chats for new tasks.
Use a central Router to assign work to separate AI agents.
Let multiple agents work independently and return results, including pull requests.
Track progress through a web dashboard, asking for human input when needed.
Control which requests trigger actions to avoid unnecessary work.
Early test results:
Completed tasks in 12.4 minutes, compared with 20.4 minutes for a single-session baseline.
Reduced the 95th-percentile completion time from 29.5 to 15.7 minutes.
However, the system consumed substantially more cached tokens.
However, DeepSeek explicitly labels it an experimental research prototype, not yet a production-ready product. The repository also warns about potential bugs and security risks.
A CRM so smart, it updates itself.
HubSpot's CRM is so smart, it now updates itself. Calls get logged and summarized the moment they end. New leads get researched and a first outreach drafted, automatically. Deals move forward on their own, with next steps flagged before you have to ask.
Even the one repetitive task you've been meaning to fix can now run itself, no code required. Customers using it are already seeing the difference.
This isn't the CRM you have to work hard to figure out. It's the one already working before you log in.
