🤯 OpenAI Just Solved Navier-Stokes??

Is It Navier-Stoked or OAI's Overhyped?

AI math got weird. OpenAI says 10,000 agents cracked Navier-Stokes in 88 hours with a model beyond Astra. Now mathematicians are arguing over the proof & credit.

Even when those documents are 200-page engineering specs, scanned tables, handwritten notes, and drawings. During our webinar we'll cover:

  • How complex documents become structured, traceable data without losing what makes them complex

  • Why agents fail when the data layer is wrong, and how to know before it ships

  • A real workflow from raw documents to production agents, with York IE

AI INSIGHTS

openai-system-solves-millennium-prize-navier-stokes-problem

OpenAI says an unreleased model more capable than GPT-6 Astra produced a proposed solution to the Navier–Stokes Millennium Prize Problem. OpenAI officially published the claim on September 8. Main details:

  • OpenAI reportedly scaled the effort to around 10,000 concurrent AI agents.

  • The claimed Navier–Stokes result emerged after roughly 88 hours of work.

  • Reporting says the run used millions of messages and cost millions of dollars in compute.

  • The proof shows finite-time blowup using a smooth external force, which can still satisfy one of Clay’s accepted formulations of the Millennium Problem.

  • OpenAI also released a machine-checkable Lean proof, giving mathematicians a much stronger basis for verification than a normal AI-generated paper.

But, mathematicians Tristan Buckmaster and Levent Alpöge had already been working on closely related fluid-dynamics results and had used OpenAI tools during their research. OpenAI denies accessing their specific user data, while acknowledging it cannot completely rule out indirect influence from de-identified usage data.

Clay still lists Navier–Stokes as unsolved, so this remains a claimed solution (and a huge controversy everywhere).

Big brands can spread ad work across research, copy, creative, and performance teams. Most smaller teams can’t.

That’s where AI gets useful: not because it replaces all of those roles, but because it can help connect the work between them, so your ideas, creatives, and performance learnings live inside one clearer process.

In today’s FREE workshop, Alex and Eric will show you how to use Claude + HeyGen to build that repeatable ad workflow, from research and concepts to video creation and deciding what to test next.

🤖 Meta Muse agent is now live inside your email, calendar, payments, shopping, even health apps. Free to start, but you must hand over plenty of personal access.

🎓 GPT-6 Astra became the first AI to ace South Korea’s full CSAT with a perfect 450. Even crazier, it did it more efficiently than rival models (like Claude or Gemini).

🏆 Meta’s autonomous research system just beat almost 4,000 Kaggle human competitors on real research tasks, and it finished top 10. That’s a serious result.

💰 Big AI Fundraising: Cognition raised $2B, doubling from $26B in 4 months. Its annualized revenue also jumped from $492M to $900M, showing AI coding still has room for multiple winners.

AI BREAKTHROUGH

ai-drug-lowers-patient-biological-age-markers

Insilico Medicine’s AI-designed drug rentosertib showed an unexpected signal: patients appeared biologically younger across 6 different aging clocks after treatment. Main findings:

  • The analysis used blood samples from 42 patients in a Phase 2a trial for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.

  • Researchers measured 2,841 proteins and ran them through six independently developed aging clocks.

  • All six showed reductions in predicted biological age among treated patients.

  • The strongest effects were around 3–4 years younger, with one clock showing up to 6 years.

  • Rentosertib itself was designed with generative AI, including AI-assisted target discovery and molecule design.

Note: this does not prove the drug slows human aging. Researchers still can’t separate a true anti-aging effect from improvements caused by treating the lung disease itself.

Key takeaway: This is an early but unusual example of an AI-designed drug showing potential effects beyond its original disease target, and it gives researchers a new way to test longevity signals inside normal clinical trials.
