⚠ 'Too Big To Fail' Problem in AI
OpenAnthro OWNs TBTF-Domino!?? 💨

Imagine if OpenAI or Anthropic suddenly went bust, it could actually crash the global economy. A massive $900B debt pile depends truly on these AI labs staying alive.
What's on FIRE 🔥
IN PARTNERSHIP WITH SPINE AI
You give it a complex task - a prototype, a dashboard, a landing page, an app, a competitive analysis report - and it executes the whole thing, end-to-end, autonomously. Not AI helping you do the work. AI doing the work.
Instead of one AI answering one question, Spine deploys a team of specialised agents - each purpose-built for its role. The right agent for the right task:
One searches the live web in real time, pulling from multiple sources simultaneously.
One pulls from your own notes and context.
One synthesizes everything into a final deliverable.
Every step visible. Every source traceable. Nothing hidden. Set the task. Walk away. Come back to a finished body of work, and an email telling you it's done.
7,000+ people have been waiting for this. General access is now live!
AI INSIGHTS
A recent Reuters report raises a serious concern for the AI industry. If major labs like OpenAI or Anthropic fail, the impact would go far beyond a normal startup collapse. It could shake the entire AI economy.
Today, companies like OpenAI and Anthropic are the main buyers behind the global AI compute surge. Tech giants are expected to spend around $650B this year.
→ Much of that expansion assumes AI labs will keep demanding massive computing power. If one of these labs disappears, that demand disappears too.
Without the constant need for AI training and inference, the growth of new data centers could slow sharply. Projects built specifically for AI workloads would suddenly struggle to find customers.
Banks and private lenders have already poured about $900B into financing AI infrastructure. Even if a big tech company eventually buys the failed lab, the immediate effect would likely be a sharp drop in confidence. The fallout could hit:
cloud providers & chipmakers
infrastructure developers & financial markets
→ That’s why some analysts now describe the biggest AI labs as “too big to fail.”

NEW AI TOOL WORTH CONSIDERING
Until now, the most powerful AI video tools all lived in the cloud. Tools like Sora, Runway, Kling AI, and Seedance all follow this model. But LTX Studio launched LTX 2.3, a production-grade AI video model that runs directly on your hardware.
→ This is one of the first attempts to bring high-end AI video generation fully onto personal machines. The new model includes several production-grade features:
Up to 4K resolution & 50 FPS video
Clips up to 20 seconds & Full audio generation
Native vertical video (1080×1920) for TikTok and Reels
Fun Fact: When the previous model LTX-2 was open-sourced earlier this year, it reached 4M downloads in 6 weeks, becoming the fastest-downloaded video model at the time.
In this post, we’ll break down how to install LTX Desktop step by step, what it can do, or can’t do for you.

AI BREAKTHROUGH
If you’ve used AI tools for a while, you probably already have a favorite: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Grok. Turns out businesses are forming the same loyalties.
Ramp released its March 2026 AI Index, which tracks how companies are actually spending money on AI tools. When businesses are choosing an AI platform for the first time, Anthropic wins about 70% of head-to-head deals against OpenAI.
→ Even more interesting: nearly 1 in 4 businesses on Ramp now pays for Anthropic, compared with 1 in 25 a year ago. Meanwhile OpenAI’s adoption rate actually fell 1.5% in March, its biggest single-month drop so far.
The core products are close:
Claude Code and OpenAI Codex are broadly comparable.
In some cases, Codex may even be cheaper, especially after OpenAI increased usage limits.
Anthropic also has a strange constraint: they cannot fully meet demand. Many Claude plans still have rate limits. In most software markets, the cheaper product usually wins. Here, that pattern is breaking.
Choosing between OpenAI and Anthropic could become similar to the green bubble vs. blue bubble divide in iMessage. Or, it may signal identity as much as technology.
