🛠️ Cursor, Claude Code, Codex Merging?

Claude Code swallowed GPT Codex...

In partnership with

ai-fire-banner

The "one tool to rule them all" prophecy is dead. Instead, the AI coding market is splitting into a specialized 3-layer stack: Cursor, Claude code, and GPT Codex.

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH CATCH

A full-time Executive Assistant costs $60k+. Catch does the heavy lifting for a fraction of the cost, with zero setup.

Most AI tools just give you more work to manage. Catch is different. It actually executes. It connects to the apps you already use (Slack, WhatsApp, Email) to handle the admin tasks you dread:

  • Fast Scheduling: It resolves conflicts and books meetings while you sleep.

  • Automated Outreach: It makes outbound calls and drafts emails in your voice.

  • Zero Learning Curve: No new apps to learn. Just tell it what you need.

Stop being your own EA. Reclaim your ROI and focus on the work only you can do.

AI INSIGHTS

Forget the "one tool to rule them all" prophecy. In a wild twist, the AI coding market is splitting into a specialized, three-layer stack. Devs are now composing their own AI toolchains, using all Cursor, Claude, and Codex:

  • Cursor 3 (Glass) is distancing itself from its VS Code roots. Its new Agents Window and Agent Tabs are designed for the Manager Surface.

  • Claude Code is winning the vibes war and the market share (46% "most loved" rating). Its MCP-based plugin system is the glue that allows it to act as the primary execution layer.

  • Codex is being repositioned by OpenAI as the "Review Layer" by embedding itself into Claude Code via the codex-plugin-cc plugin.

Early adopters are using Claude for the high-stakes architectural refactoring and swapping to Kimi K2.5 or Codex for the high-volume, low-complexity tasks to manage their token burn.

OpenAI’s decision to build a plugin for a competitor’s terminal (Claude Code) is a masterstroke of pragmatism. They realized that developers have agent fatigue, they don't want to switch tools, they want their current tools to be smarter.

Whether you use Cursor or Google’s Antigravity, the game is now about managing Toolchains, not just writing files.

PRESENTED BY MINTLYFY

AI Agents Are Reading Your Docs. Are You Ready?

Last month, 48% of visitors to documentation sites across Mintlify were AI agents—not humans.

Claude Code, Cursor, and other coding agents are becoming the actual customers reading your docs. And they read everything.

This changes what good documentation means. Humans skim and forgive gaps. Agents methodically check every endpoint, read every guide, and compare you against alternatives with zero fatigue.

Your docs aren't just helping users anymore—they're your product's first interview with the machines deciding whether to recommend you.

That means:
→ Clear schema markup so agents can parse your content
→ Real benchmarks, not marketing fluff
→ Open endpoints agents can actually test
→ Honest comparisons that emphasize strengths without hype

In the agentic world, documentation becomes 10x more important. Companies that make their products machine-understandable will win distribution through AI.

OPENCLAW COURSE: 100% WORTH YOUR TIME

openclaw-playbook-launch-your-first-ai-employee-zero-code

OpenClaw hit 346,000 GitHub stars in under 5 months. Even NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang called it "the next ChatGPT." In China, nearly 1,000 people lined up outside Tencent's headquarters just to get it installed on their laptops.

3.2M people are using it actively right now, spending an average of 45 minutes per session, nearly twice as long as ChatGPT users.

And yet, you're still not using it… Every time you get close to actually starting, something stops you. Nobody has sat down and explained this clearly, step by step, for people who are smart but not developers.

That's exactly why we built this playbook. We wanted to bridge the gap between "high-tech" and "high-implementation".

👉 This first lesson is designed to strip away the complexity and get your OpenClaw running without the headache.

Note: This is Lesson 1 of the official OpenClaw Playbook. If you find this valuable, share it with your team, colleagues, or that one relative who is still manually sorting their inbox!

AI BREAKTHROUGH

meta-is-trying-to-delete-the-os-with-their-new-neural-computer

Meta is moving from models that use computers to models that act as computers. Their Neural Computer prototype executes desktop tasks directly via learned behavior, no APIs or orchestration layers required.

The prototype marks a departure from traditional "Tool Use" (like ChatGPT calling a Python interpreter) and moves toward a unified learned system.

  • It was trained on thousands of hours of screen recordings, cursor movements, and terminal sessions.

  • The control flow and logic are encoded directly into the model’s weights.

  • It predicts the next screen state the same way GPT predicts the next word.

  • It treats a UI interaction as raw data. If it needs to move a file, it doesn't call a shutil.move() command; it thinks the cursor movement and keyboard input required to do it.

While the vision is mind-bending, this is a prototype, not a finished product. It might remember to open a folder but forget why it was there 3 steps later. It hasn't learned the "concept" of a button; it’s learned the "pattern" of a button.

Until the model can learn that "X icon" always means "Close" regardless of the app, it’s just a very sophisticated macro recorder.
