Usually, when Meta or Mistral say "open source," they just share the weights (the final numbers that make the model work). It’s quite hard for non-coders or beginners.

So AI2’s Olmo 3 gives you everything: every dataset, every line of code, every checkpoint, every decision made while building it. Imagine if Tesla didn’t just release car blueprints, but handed you the entire assembly line and said: “Go build your own.”
